Alan Percy Walker was born in Kent and today lives in the Cambrian Hills.
He describes himself as a watercolourist in the tradition of the 19th Century.
He is best known for his detailed watercolours of landscapes and buildings in and around the Deal area.
He has 13 pieces of his work in the Welsh National Collection and for 10 years has been commissioned to paint the gold medal-winning garden at R.H.S Chelsea Flower Show.
